Maker Immersion (XR)

The Maker Immersion Training Program is an integrated set of resources to deliver the Cert. IV & Diploma in Building & Construction that are designed to be taught through TAFE’s. It includes a full set of notes with the Units of Competency clustered into modules, with topics that are mapped down to the criteria required against Australian VET accredited training packages. The course incorporates scenario-based learning opportunities using Virtual Reality scenarios, and real examples in the notes and case studies to underpin the learnings required. This project is made up of multiple modules, each teaching a different aspect of the diploma. Each of these modules were worked on as a team or solo depending on the project and development team at the time.

This module introduces students to the fundamentals of forces and loading, as well as the principles of structural elements and materials.

This module is designed to provide a basic understanding about construction project management, introducing how to plan, control and communicate over the project lifecycle.

This module teaches students the process for iterative and thorough planning. By placing students on a virtual construction site, they learn the crucial planning required before a project.

This module is designed to provide students with an understanding about the basics of reading and interpreting drawings used in construction projects.

Manage Quality

Module Nine

Manage Quality

This module teaches students the importance of quality management and the methods used to ensure the project remains of the highest standard.

Modules with a mixture of Immersive and Interactive experiences that train students in new mediums to allow for better learning.
